  1. Shopping motto:  It's only money!
  2. Dress etiquette?   Under rather than overdressed
  3. Wardrobe friend?   A good black suit
  4. Shoe heel height?   Low
  5. Dress mistakes? - What?   I'm too impulsive when buying and have clothes I've never worn.
  6. How many hangers in your wardrobe?  Hundreds
  7. Accessory friend?   A Louis Vuitton bag I won in a raffle. I use it 24/7.
  8. Best asset?   The LV bag - you can't look cheap carrying an LV.
  9. Lipstick? Colour?   Bright red, though it's hard to find one that stays on.
  10. Handbag?  What's in it?   My life!
  11. Week-end friend?  A pair of black pants and black top that I can throw any appropriate old jacket over when I go out, whether it's to the shops, a restaurant or a braai with the family.
  12. A second hand item?  My sister buys lovely tops in England and then gives them to me because she has nothing to wear them to.
  13. Most expensive item, ever?  A multi-coloured silk blouse with pin tucks down the front from Habits for R2000. I could eat it I love it so much!
  14. Cheapest buy?  R50 for a great black duster coat in a Truworths sale 20 years ago which I still wear.
  15. Best investment?  A long black pin-tucked crepe dress bought in a sale store in Los Angeles 12 years ago which still looks brilliant today
  16. Dress secret?  I couldn't live without Habits.
  17. Your husband's thoughts on your wardrobe?  No husband, so can please myself.
  18. ...and your thoughts on his?  Ditto
  19. Definition of style?  Elegant individualism.
  20. Describe today's fashion?  Great if you're a skinny, 6ft model with amazing legs and no boobs or belly.
