The Style Bible by Simon Rademan

THE STYLE BIBLE

- by Simon Rademan

Elzabe Zietsman Songstress, Actress, Chefstress

  1. Shopping motto?  Stay out of shops if you have no money!
  2. Etiquette rule no 1?  RSVP, and notify your host in advance if you’re not able to attend.
  3. Your wardrobe ally?  A black coat I bought in Berlyn. It fits in any corner of my suitcase and re appears without a crease on the another side – formal or informal.
  4. Shoe heel height?  Everything, from “tekkies” to the highest available, depends on the occasion.
  5. Dressing faux pais? Never to the extend of embarrassment.  It should not matter what you wear – as long as you do it with confidence, you can get away with murder!
  6. How many hangers in your wardrobe?  A lot, actually.  They’re all white and face in the same direction.
  7. Accessory ally?  A small string of pearls, I have one in white, and in pink, and in black…
  8. Best asset?  My length and body shape.  I can basically wear anything…
  9. Lipstick colour?  I do not wear make-up – only in extreme cases, and s natural as possible.
  10. What’s in your handbag?  It depends – sometimes a small shoulder bag with only the necessary, and then again a huge one with EVERYTHING in it!
  11. Weekend style? To me, there is no difference between week and week-end.  I wear what is appropriate and best suited for the activity at hand.
  12. 2nd hand item? Many!
  13. Most expensive item ? Clothes and shoes for the stage.  I mainly wear designer items for the stage.
  14. Cheapest item?  This is relative.  The most expensive item can become the cheapest item, depending on the service and wear you get from it.
  15. Best investment?  My black coat from Berlyn.
  16. Dress secrets? Start with your under garments.  If it fits well and looks pretty too, you are already halfway to looking and feeling good and beautiful!
  17. What does your friend think of your dress standard?  N.a.
  18. What do you think of his dress sense?  It is not important what other people think of your clothes, it is important how you feel in it.
  19. Definition for style?  Confidence in what you are wearing.
  20. Today’s fashion?  I do not give a d@mn!  Fashion is what other people think you should be wearing.  Wear what you desire with confidence, and you will never be out of fashion.

And what do they say...?
