The 2011/12 Press Release
SA
best and worst dressed women™ 2011

During the year 2011, we saw preposterous, over-the-top, and
sometime bizarre designs worn by International Superstars like
Nicky Minaj, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Naturally, almost
anyone who wanted to emulate their “gowns” in any way could
easily find themselves on worst dressed lists all over the
world.
2011
also saw SA’s first ever royal princess, HSH Charlene Grimaldi (Wittstock)
taking the international world of true style by storm. Those
who looked to her for style inspiration, had to choose from a
simple, classic, and meaningful wardrobe, and celebrated the
power that an understated and classy demeanor can bring you.
These listings of notable individuals on separate lists of Best
dressed women and/or Worst dressed women, are here by popular
demand. As a designer, it shall never be my intention to
criticize, but to give guidance. It is my responsibility to
remain honest as a style ambassador as to what works for which
figure, age and occasion and what does not. When you are in
the public eye, you have no choice but to be groomed (almost to
perfection) and dressed correctly, and to do this… is as easy as
1, 2, 3, …
1 – dress age-appropriate
2 – dress figure flattering
3 – dress for the occasion
Fashion is about re-invention and grooming is a tool. This
shapes your inner point of view, and subsequently your outer
sense of style. If your view has integrity, you have this
incredible power!
